We are currently looking for a Mechatronics Engineer, aka Electronics/ Electrical Engineer for a 6 month contract basis. We require an appropriately qualified individual with: - A minimum of three years industrial experience & - A Degree in Electronics/ Mechatronics. Should have solid, practical experience & knowledge of: o Motor Control Theory o Electric Motors o Medium Volume Appliances Manufacturing Techniques o Component & Whole Product validation in accordance with Test Plans & International Product Safety Standards o Data Acquisition & Interpretation o Supplier Liaison o PCBa Manufacture & Design o Working knowledge of Control Software & Working Knowledge of EMC requirements. Although all of these would be ideal, they are not essential knowledge to have as can be learned working in the role. This is a 6 month temporary position, which could lead to a permanent position subject to acceptable performance.
