Math Lesson Storyboard (third grade level)

Comparing and Ordering Numbers Math Lesson Storyboard If you are good at math or are a teacher, then this project is for you. Create step-by-step description of a math lesson (for 3rd grade level), in a form of a storyboard. Your document will go directly to the programmers, so your instructions have to be clear and detailed. (See [login to view URL] in the attachment as a successful example of how a good storyboard should look like). You are free to combine your hand drawings or sketches with text in order to illustrate parts of the lesson. Project requirements: 1. Prepare two separate, but similar lessons for this project: Place Values: Comparing Numbers (we already have almost finished storyboard for this one; please put finishing touches and organize it a bit) Place Values: Ordering Numbers 2. Create a screen-by-screen description of what students will see, hear, and do when running this program. 3. . Indicate any functional buttons, (like Help, Hint, Back, Next etc…) their purpose, location on the screen, text etc.. The lesson should consist of two parts: 1) Introduction of a concept: -Define and explain “place value†concept in a clear, step-by-step manner. Have a sufficient number of examples to illustrate the concept. (3-5) 2) Questions and exercises that will reinforce the understanding of the place value concept: - Make a sufficient number of problems and questions that will demonstrate student's understanding of the concept. (10 problems/questions). - In case of a wrong answer offer a hint. - Define answers to questions/problems. In the attachment you'll find some typical "compare and order" worksheets used in schools, which are not to be copied (except for the [login to view URL] file which you can either finish or use parts of it), but should serve as a guideline for the content we expect to be covered. You may also use any other resources you find useful.
