Project: find the best site for a new Wastewater Treatment plant 1- Select a city that is close by a river 2- The WWTP is 100mx100m square 3- It should not be flooded by a flood that result in river level to be 2m higher than its usual level 4- Should be at least 200m away from all residential areas 5- Should be on a site that has a lower elevation than almost all of the residential areas in the city (to the extent possible) When submitting the project: a) Prepare a report as a word document or PDF document, explaining the steps taken to achieve the final recommendation Hint: If you are looking for certain tools to do certain tasks in ArcGIS just type the task you are looking along with “ArcGIS” in Google. You will get a lot of helpful materials, tutorials, even YouTube clips.

Hi, The most important question is if you provide all the necessary data, shapefiles, etc, or if I have to track down everything. If you have the data already, probably I could be finished in a day. I wrote 2, so there is no time pressure. This is a typical task I did multiple times at uni, should be straightforward. I have ArcGIS preinstalled already. Cheers, Robert
