GIS/Sistema de Informação e Geográfico Project We are seeking a skilled GIS professional to assist us with a research project. The ideal candidate should have experience in mapping and visualization, as well as knowledge of spatial analysis and modeling. Specific requirements for the project include: - Mapping and visualization: The candidate should be proficient in creating visually appealing maps and visualizations to support our research objectives. - Data management and database design: The candidate should have experience in managing spatial data and designing databases to store and organize the data effectively. - Incorporation of existing spatial data: While we are unsure if we have existing spatial data that needs to be incorporated, the candidate should be prepared to handle this task if necessary. - Intended use of the GIS project: The project is primarily for research purposes, so the candidate should have a solid understanding of research methodologies and be able to support our research objectives through the use of GIS. Ideal skills and experience for the job: - Proficiency in GIS software and tools such as ArcGIS, QGIS, or similar. - Strong understanding of spatial analysis and modeling techniques. - Experience in data management and database design, including knowledge of SQL or other database query languages. - Familiarity with research methodologies and the ability to apply GIS techniques to
