Weather Station ---- Hardware Requirements 1. Raspberry PI to be used as the main controller for weather station 2. Wifi Module for long range communication with external Antenna 3. Bluetooth Dongle for technical configuration and Support Weather Station ---- Environment Monitoring Parameters 1. Wind Speed Sensor 2. Wind Direction Sensor 3. Air Temperature Sensor 4. Air Humidity Sensor 5. Barometric Pressure Weather Station ---- Firmware Requirements 1. Should be able to read all Environment Monitoring Parameters using I2C or SPI or GPIO parameters 2. Calculate and convert of Environment Monitoring parameter data into respectable UOM ( Unit of Measurement) 3. Store the calculated Environment Monitoring parameter data on SD Card / database on a timely interval. 4. Integrate appropriate WIFI module firmware for static and dynamic IP configuration 5. Integrate appropriate webserver and database for web services 6. Following are the high level requirement of proposed Web service a. Restricted access to configuration settings b. Access and update of Configurable parameters ( TCP/IP, web server and parameter calibration settings) c. Retrieval of historical data of various monitoring parameters d. Data display in graphical display for analysis 7. Pull service Module to provide the historical data to the request source module, the data size depends on request of real-time or time range.
