This project is to write a function in vb.net that takes an array of values from the acceleration profile of an automotive engine valve motion and returns a Fourier Analysis similar to that shown in figure 3. Note the length of the array is not fixed, it is variable. [login to view URL] I only need the function that does the computation, the user interface can be a text console or anything that is convenient to you. I would prefer it was in VB.net but if it is in C (and easy to read) I can convert it myself.

Hi, I have a real-time (can't get much faster!) fast fourier transform algorithm in C. Can be re-written in C# but not VB - will leave this to you. (Hard to do bit shifting in VB). Input array cannot be totally variable - must be multiple of 2, and produces transformed array of half the input size.
