Position Overview: As an Accountant/Bookkeeper with our company, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of our financial records, from day-to-day bookkeeping tasks to comprehensive financial reporting. This role requires a high level of proficiency in accounting software, including QuickBooks, Xero, and other relevant platforms. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have a strong background in creating customized reports using Google Sheets and Excel to provide insightful financial analysis for strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities: Conduct day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including recording financial transactions, managing accounts payable and receivable, and reconciling bank statements. Utilize QuickBooks, Xero, and other accounting software to maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records. Develop and maintain systems for generating daily, weekly, and monthly profit and loss statements (P&Ls) to monitor financial performance. Create customized reports using Google Sheets and Excel to provide detailed insights into financial metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs). Collaborate with management to develop revenue forecasting models and expense projections to support strategic planning initiatives. Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations, including GAAP principles. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Proven track record of several years of experience in bookkeeping and accounting roles, including experience working with US-based companies. Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, and other accounting software. Advanced skills in Google Sheets and Excel, with the ability to create customized reports and financial models. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Experience in revenue forecasting, expense analysis, and financial reporting. Prior experience working remotely as a Virtual Assistant (VA). Willingness to work on Eastern Standard Time (EST) from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, which corresponds to 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM Philippine Time.
