Aim - Have a way of automatically running a TCP throughput test that is RFC6349 compliance and outputting the results to Solarwinds SAM for charting and reporting.
Description - Write a powershell script/wrapper for iPerf3.0 (windows binary) that will allow different functions to be passed into the script in the form of variables and the test results passed out into a format supported by Solarwinds Server and Application Monitor.
Any error with the script execution should be logged to the windows event log (failed to connect, failed to execute etc)
The script is designed to be able to test between two iPerf3.0 systems (client/server) and return throughput, results while identifying any issues. The testing mechanism must be RFC 6349 compliant, so RTT, Loss, bandwidth, Protocol and more must all be taken into account. The number of stream should be automatically calculated based on the RTT / WindowSize and available bandwidth (passed in via variable). Various different DSCP markings should be able to be passed in to ensure that traffic shaping and throughput.
Security - It must be able to run without needing to be logged in and also executed remotely with WinRM and run with the minimum amount of permissions required.

Each “Solarwinds Powershell Script” can take up to 10 values and will be charted as follows, executions of the script should be kept to a minimum so if more than 10 values are returned from a single run these may better read from file etc.
