Format and put full-text searchable database online

Hi, Thanks for inviting me to bid on your project. I have a few questions for you. I had a look at your sample data and it seems to me that the file is already organized as a a relational table would be. I'm not sure what you mean by "every field has many same items) could you please clarify? Is it that the same family name for instance appears several times on different records? If this is the case they should be separate records because they represent different people. In any case I could just add a unique numeric ID for each record. I understand German so I understand the column names however I.m not sure what the institution represents. Would you want to have the full name as a separate column? it's redundant with the other ones in my opinion. What does the * mean after the date of birth? Do you already have a MySQL database setup? Is it local or on a server? How would you make changes? Are you familiar with phpMyAdmin? If not you may want to setup a website that would allow to display, edit. search and list records based on criteria. I could setup a simple (just for this purpose) Joomla site for you for an additional 250 EUR. Do not hesitate if you have any questions. Hi, Just to make sure I understand. You want to have this exported to a relational database, like MySQL. Then have an interface where you can edit any of the records. Also add or delete records if necessary. And you also want a page where a search can be done and proper records will be displayed. Let me know if the above are correct. Hi. I can do this for you! I can insert in mysql database from the text file and do a searchable php script online to search in mysql. I did a similar project recently for 6.000 address contacts informations from a text with 13 fileds searchable in the php script. Regards.

Hi, This is a very doable project. I have been able to view the columns in Excel. There are a few character encoding issues which can be fixed. Aside of that the columns can be converted to table data which can then be queried for information and stylized for presentation in your website.
