Hi. I have configured WECs and event forwarding from PCs (more than 7000) on my fulltime work and I believe that can help your company with this. My previous work includes no only a simple configuration of clients subscriptions but also includes: - the ability for scalability of WECs (by automatically generation subscriptions based on geographical principle) ; - the ability to get detailed info using perfmon about collected events per second and dropped events per second on WEC so that could give a clue when WEC is not able physically handles provided amount of the events; - WEC troubleshooting, a very popular problem on WEC is performance issues related to the need for the periodical cleaning of Windows registry from the old entries. Also, I have experience with troubleshooting event forwarding on the client's machines. The typical problems are: - incorrect length of XPath query in subscription configuration - incorrect DACL on event log that doesn't allow to collect events by WinRM and so on Besides WEC configuration experience I am also skilled in AD, GroupPolicies, Windows OS, and developing for Windows platform.
