Edit a SquareSpace template for an architecture portfolio

Hello, I'm having trouble with my current website ([login to view URL]) - the slideshows stopped working, and I would like to have an updated design instead of fixing the existing one. I would like to build a new website using Squarespace - I really like their "Wexley" template but I am curious if it is possible to edit the code to do 2 things differently: 1) I would like the home page to be a collection of 1 thumbnail for each different project - so when i click on the thumnail, it takes me to that project page, where i can have a slideshow of other images for that project. Currently, every image I upload on the website is shown as a thumbnail on the homepage. Here is a very quick mockup of the site with this template: [login to view URL] For example, I would like the first image to be the only picture for the project "Merry-Go-Ground" (currently the first 3 pics are all of the same project). So i would like to click on the first picture, and then have a slide show of all 3 photos. 2) Once you are at the "project page" for a specific project, I would like to be able to add text under the slide show. (For example like this: [login to view URL] ) Are these two things possible? If so I would like you to edit the code so that it is possible. Once I approve you I can give you the password to the site, also I have hosting through GoDaddy. I just need the code changed, I can add and upload all the content.
