I need a highly experienced developer with a RSS background to help take content to a whole new level for the following website: [login to view URL] Now, this project does NOT require you to write any content whatsoever, but it does require that you do two very specific things: 1. Create a sliding panel for web portal purposes 2. Implement RSS hyperlinks and regular hyperlinks throughout the website. These are the two parts to this project, which requires that you have extensive HTML & CSS experience. If you don't do CSS design work, then please don't bid on this project. There is some minor CSS design work in which I will provide you with the necessary PSD files. But, please keep in mind that 95% of this website is already done - I just need somebody who can implement RSS so as to take this project to a whole new level. Part 1: Create a Sliding Panel for Web Portal Purposes For this project, you'll be required to create a simple slide panel that slides in from the left hand side. In other words, I want somebody that can do something similar to what's on the following page: [login to view URL] Now, I need a sliding panel that slides in from the left hand side, much like it does within this example (except here it slides in from the top). In addition, I need this sliding bar to have five tabs on the left hand side so the user can view content that's specifically designed for each tab. Here are the five tabs: - Today's IT News - What's Hot in IT - IT Executives - Your Business - IT Job Journal And now here's where the RSS feeds come in. I would want you to write the necessary RSS code that would bring in current news from some of the most reliable and reputable news sources. I will provide you with the PSD files so you can use CSS to design the proper layout within each one of these 5 tabs. Please note that a jQuery vertical scrollbar may be needed within each of the 5 tabs. Part 2: Implement RSS hyperlinks and regular hyperlinks throughout the website. The second part of this project is for you to implement RSS feeds throughout the rest of the website as well. For example, some of the hot news items that appears within the mini-portal section of our website may also appear on other pages throughout the rest of the website. For this part you may also be required to create other hyperlinks that are not part of your RSS feeds. In addition, you may also be asked to place various banners throughout the website that will link to various static webpages throughout the website. So, basically by utilizing RSS, I hope to keep this website as fresh with current news as much as possible - and that's the whole point to this project. Like I said earlier, I hope to take content to a whole new level for this website. If you have the necessary skill set to do this project, then I want to hear from you. Please be sure to also submit your portfolio that shows prior RSS experience. Thanks and happy bidding.
