This project is for webscraping, for scraping a particular site, example: [login to view URL] I am looking to grab information, when running different searches e.g. 'Builders Oxford', 'Dentist Oxford', 'Financial Advisor Oxford' etc. I want to grab not just from this first page but also from subsequent pages. Information Needed 1. Business Name 2. Business Type 3. Website URL 4. Tel Number 5. Address - seperated into fields ... I can provide example of what I'm looking for Requirements A. To do this using a Python Script B. To PROVIDE THE SCRIPT after the work has been done, alongside any instructions of how to run C. For the script to have in place methods to stop scraping being blocked D. For the script to be easy to add additional variations to the search e.g. 'Dentist in Oxford' Questions 1. hey, 9876 .. I have scraped from YELL before using PYTHON scripts. I know the blocking issues is mostly due to fixed IP. We can use proxy to avoid that. Lets talk more in chat.

9876 I have already written this script in VB.NET which will grab all business with info in the area, radius and search term given it will also attempt to hit the homepage if a website is found to try to grab an email address, not sure if this is any help as you requested python, but the site doesnt seem to mind being smashed if you give it a google bot user-agent ;-) message me if you need more info or for a screenshot of your query + output, I cant send it here (I am making a whole set of them for all the uk sites)
