my registrar is amazon, they have their own dns server, so if i point a domain, say, [login to view URL] to amazon dns i can set an A record pointing to an address and it will work. i have another domain, [login to view URL] pointing to dns server [login to view URL] and [login to view URL] (my bind server) and in bind i have created an A record to an address, problem is, when you enter [login to view URL] in your browser it will time out saying that dns server could not be found, so my bind server is not running properly, maybe port is closed, a misconfiguration, and who knows, thats what i want to find out
