Maria Gereberne Lozada, a graduate of University of Santo Tomas Conservatory of Music with a bachelor’s degree in Vocal Performance, has gained substantial amount of experience on stage performing as a soloist in different auditoriums and music festivals both local and international. She has won 1st prize in the National Music Competition for young artists, which is the highest form of competition in Manila. Maria has performed in various concerts in the Philippines, Italy, San Francisco, Idaho, Beijing. She has also participated in several opera and music productions, and in Masterclasses with Italian based opera singers Eva Mei, Elena Monti, Masimillano Silvestri, Giovanna Canetti; Cambridge based Soprano Sheila Barnes; Japanese Coloratura soprano Kotoko Saito and Miyako Shimizu; and internationally acclaimed Opera singers Rachel Gerodias and Byeong in Park. Maria’s teaching experience includes being a private Voice and piano teacher in manila for 3 years.
