VMWare ESXi configurations

There must be a SAN based storage solution deployed o Using a Windows file server as an iSCSI SAN target o If one disk in the SAN fails, no data should be lost o Appropriate storage pools and LUNs should be configured o The SAN should be a separate network from the LAN There must be a VMWare ESXi server deployed o The ESXi server must have its primary datastore stored on the SAN via iSCSI o The ESXi server must host all the application servers There must be two application servers deployed o Each application server should be virtualised in ESXi o Each application server must be provisioned 512MB of RAM o Each application server must be provisioned 800GB of storage space from the SAN o The application servers are unlikely to be using all of their allocated storage. o The application servers do not support SCSI disks and must be configured with virtual IDE There should be one web server installed o The web server can run any operating system and web server software you choose provided it does not cost the company any additional money. (eg. Lighttpd, nginx, apache2, Microsoft IIS) o The web server must have FTP file sharing over the local network enabled o The web server should host the provided Conglomercorp Website o The web server should use its own storage and not be connected to the SAN
