I placed a dummy bid so as to NOT get this job. Let me give you some advice. I have been programming for over 25 years so please don't take this advice wrongly. Firstly, how could anyone professional quote on a project with zero information and/or sight unseen?. How many screens or reports? Do you want keyboard shortcuts? Mouse driven? Are you scanning barcodes? What operating system? There's a way to open up the 2.6 project in VFP9 and it will automatically "convert" to VFP9. You'll probably get this type of conversion! It won't be pretty nor will maintaining the code be easy in the future. Any developer worth dealing with would first want to look at the existing code then sit with you ( skype/phone etc) to see exactly what you want/need. Also the budget you have to work with has no relation to what this project conversion will actually cost. I'd be happy to help you with the above even if I don't get the job. I have worked extensively on VFP 5.0 to VFP9.0 versions with native Visual FoxPro Database and SQL Server Database as well. I am involved in software designing, implementation and support/maintenance of various domain solutions. I had experience in retail domain for more than 6 years, knows POS functionality.
