Just for sake of clearness and trust, Data Migration is the main problem in your request, even Odoo can not guaranty you full data migration. I'm providing you with my proposal that includes: 1- upgrade all system parts 2- close the fiscal/financial year and start a new year with opening balances on OERP 6.1 . 3- keep OpenERP 6.1 as historical read-only system for reference and manual data migration if needed. 4- Configure Odoo 8 + POS to your business with opening balances migrated from OERP 6.1 . As an advice, do not beleive anyone will tell you that i will migrate your OpenERP 6.x data to Odoo 7 or 8 within the avg. bid rate or even for 2k USD before he have all your data in hand. Regards,

I am Odoo developer for more than two years now. Working in a very well known Odoo development company One of the benefits of working with a small team is that I am involved in a project from its analysis to deployment, get to know about workflows of companies in sectors ranging from marketing to manufacturing. I have experience in developing custom implementations which involve modifying multiple modules and features to fit them in customer's business workflow.  I have set up Odoo on servers with Xeons to Celerons. Hosting servers ranging from DigitalOcean to Linode. Configuring it with apache server to use a domain instead of IP address. I have developed multiple payment gateways for e-commerce integration. Also worked on integrating barcode scanners and thermal printers with point of sale and warehouse modules.   Customizing Reports in Odoo is also a task which have been very frequent. Based on clients requirement I have created new reports and updated existing ones too.
