Hello. I've been using RoR for almost 4 years now for various projects from simple scripts to complex systems that have lots of models with complicated relationships between them. I assume, you already have newsfeed implemented, so the scope of this project is: 1) add the ability to follow topics for users 2) implement the system to 'tag' the projects with various topics (with autosuggestion script like you mentioned) 3) make sure that projects with selected topics appear in news feed. I also assume that current newsfeed is built around projects, do you want to add topics to that, or do you want it reworked, so it will rely on topics instead?
