What we are looking for:
We are looking for linguists who good at translating online help and user interface text.
Linguists should be specialized in translating areas including UI, Engineering, Machinery industry.
The content type is mainly Online help, User Interface.
The service type is MTPE (machine translator post-editing).
Qualification:
• Must: University bachelor degree in Translation/Applied Languages; or bachelor degree in Design/Engineering/Construction/Mechanical.
• Must: 5+ years of experience as a translator.
• Must: native speaker of Simplified Chinese.
• Must: experience of machine translation post-editing (MTPE).
• Must: 3-5 years experiences of translating UI and Online Help content for Software Applications.
• Nice to have: able to use CAT tools: Idiom WorldServer, Passolo.
• Nice to have: familiar with 3D design software for entertainment, natural resources, manufacturing, engineering, construction, and civil infrastructure
