Hi, PFB the details of the project Use end punctuation for complete sentences (period, question mark for questions) For numbers 0-9 that are not followed by a measuring unit (meter, hour etc.) write them in Bengali words For numbers 10+ and all numbers followed by a measuring unit, write them with Bengali digits for cardinals and ordinals 10 and above Format time as hh:mm, like 10:00 (NOT 10.00) Avoid using commas, where not necessary Foreign celebrity names should be transliterated. Write brand names with correct spelling, so if the official spelling is in English, use as such (use google search) Welcome to the Bengali transcription project! Here is the handoff SOW for the new transcription project. Please read this e-mail carefully as it has very important information of the implementation of this project and reply “Yes” to confirm your acceptance of this SOW. Your work on this SOW also signifies your acceptance of these terms. Project and Payment Information: Language/locale: Bengali Project: Transcription Expected throughput: 180 utterances per hour Rate: 150 INR for 180 utterance Payments: done when the project is completed. Quality: Expected minimum quality is 90%. IMPORTANT: Quality is critical and is monitored at all times. Because transcriptions cannot be accessed or revised after submission, Transcribers are responsible for providing high quality transcriptions with a minimum quality rate of 90%. Transcribers with lower than expected quality are notified and might be asked to take actions to improve their quality, such as successfully completing additional testing. We may terminate our relationship with any Transcriber who has frequent or excessive poor-quality submissions. In extreme cases, when Transcribers submit a very high number of items within a very short time, with very low quality (and where, for example, transcription submission time is shorter than actual audio length of relevant utterances, which indicates that audios are actually not properly listened to), we will remove such Transcribers immediately. We will also consider such conduct as a material breach of the Transcriber’s obligations to provide services that are error-free and that comply with our specifications, and We will accordingly seek all available remedies against the Transcriber. Those remedies may include relying on the Transcriber’s breach to relieve from its obligations to that Transcriber, including an obligation to provide payment for such services.
