I make several pieces in After Effects which will be the most effective way to combine animation with video. I would use a whiteboard/chalkboard design (depending on the content) to help make the featured material pop. Simple write on text in a script font, with animated boxes that will display video when completed. The best concept to take in creating the effects is to do it all digitally (just text and video on screen) or to film a person "writing" to start and they would come back with an eraser to return to a blank state if the need arises. I will base the animation on the voice over, which will be taken from the script itself. I believe it is best to stay simple on this project so the video doesn't get cluttered. It is best to end with a simple logo page of the brand/company, and this provides the call to action where the viewer can learn where to go for more information or detail.
