Project is to revise 2-3 page paper (double spaced) on hotel overbooking. Some things to consider are business analysis and business intelligence, and data warehousing. Freelancer must have IT background. Paper to revise will be attached upon milestone creation Instruction Revision: To have better informed decisions when a hotel purposely overbooks, explain clearly what data will be gathered, about what entities or things, and where this will be collected. Then explain what analyses would help you manage overbooking. How can the chain overbook in a smarter way to avoid problems at the end? Perhaps you can sketch a scenario that shows how this analysis proceeds and what factors play a role here. You can consider the property, the time of year, special events, customer categories, and the like. You may even use these tools when overbooking does occur to determine which customers are accommodated and which customers are referred to another hotel, all in the name of revenue maximization.
