Shipping container home engineering.

I am seeking a USA-based licensed structural engineer and an environmental architect that knows the USA, FLORIDA code to work on a house made of shipping containers. Must stamp the drawings.

My name is Moshe, the owner of cargocontainerhome101 dot com. ; The only social media network created to assimilate and organize information, and to then inform and instruct interested parties in the construction of a shipping container home—a new and growing approach many people are using to meet their housing needs In Florida and around the world. I am seeking an engineer that sees the value of this project and have a passion for the shipping container home concept.

This social media network is envisaged to bring shipping container home-builders together to share their building experiences thru images, videos, and member chats and by these means to recommend appropriate engineers, architects, share other members’ solutions and solve the common problems that they experience. The network is intended to be both an instructional source and an advocate of this exciting global evolution.

As I’ve discovered, and you may be aware, shipping container home-building is an innovative solution to the high cost of traditional home building that is becoming a new, fast growing trend embraced by thousands of people in Florida and around the world who want to live in a dwelling that is an economic and environmentally sustainable home.

As part of my network’s offerings to its members, I intend to construct, from the ground up, a unique house made of reclaimed shipping containers. I will be documenting this project with videos demonstrating each step of the construction of a sustainable shipping container home. Those videos will be viewed by members in Florida around the world. I am endeavoring to be LEED certified and to be featured on its website ([url removed, login to view]) as the first sustainable shipping container home in Florida.
