Create custom report using Python accessing Amazon RDS DB

I have data in RDS/mysql on AWS and we have the reports currently being generated using something called WinWard reports. But, we want the same reports coded in PHP using the PHP reporting library to generate identical reports. There will be many follow up projects... We have a report called a Security Risk Analysis. There are several one to many table relationships in grids, but nothing very complicated. It is mostly text, and about 40 pages long. You don't really need MySQL expertise...But, you need to know how to use the Python reporting library to generate good looking PDF files. IMPORTANT: You will have to let us pass in a variable to tell you whether to generate in PDF form or .DocX (MS Word.) Python has a library to do both, so should be easy. The attached template has the fields in a report writer called Winward reports. If you hover your mouse over the fields, it will show you the SQL (similar) that is called to get the data. We will pass in a SQL Connect string with tine information on how to connect to the DB. We are here to answer any technical questions.
