Deadline: Mid July Project: POS & Kiosk Software development and hardware integration *We do not want to use a third party payment gateway. funds need to be verified at kiosk, loaded onto card and transferred to vehicle operator bank account. Requiring experienced POS (Point Of Sales) software developers and hardware integration expert. This Point of Sales Hardware runs Android 5.1 and utalises encrypted RFID cards for payment. This project is to be used on Public transport vehicles which means the main function is to process travel fares digitally via our RFID tap card technology (miFare DESfire cards). APK files will be supplied to you. Scope: POINT OF SALES HARDWARE -POS software creation -POS hardware integration -Distance calculation (using POS GPS data) for accurate fare calculation -Bank payment integration (money loaded onto the card is to be transferred to bus operator accounts when commuters tap off and fare is calculated) (a fee is charged by us per transaction so you will also need to split the transfers to separate banks). -Admin Interface - to display transaction history and database. VENDING MACHINE/ KIOSK HARDWARE -collect and calculate cash inserted into machine -dispense correct card -develop on screen interface (responsive touch screen interface) for card selection and top up/reload amount -activate dispensed card (for added security) -Deactivate card and reset previous history on the card when returned back to the machine (a designated slot will be placed on the kiosk to accept used cards so that we can keep the Pre-Paid cards in circulation) -Kiosk transaction history and database The system must be fully tested and made sure it works with the RFID cards that will be used. the correct fare must be calculated every single time with a simple cost structure based on distance. the software must also recognize the serial numbers of the RFID cards and track the available balance left on the card to ensure travelers are paying correctly.
