PhD level Literature survey and Research Synopsis. PhD Research Synopsis need to be prepared in the area of "Fairness and explanability in AI & Machine Learning models" TABLE OF CONTENTS : 1. Introduction 2. Research question 3. Motivation 4. Objective(s) and Scope, Review of Literature 5. Description of the research work (Brief, but sufficient details regarding (a) Proposed Methodology (b) Research design (c) proposed statistical tools (if any) ) 6. References The synopsis can have 10 - 15 pages Research synopsis should critically evaluate the research work done so far and their limitations and how it has evolved over the period. TABLE OF CONTENTS : 1. Introduction 2. Research question 3. Motivation 4. Objective(s) and Scope 5. Description of the research work 6. References The synopsis can have 10 - 15 pages, including the cover page and should be printed on both sides of the paper. The paper must be A4 size . Title of the synopsis must be the same as the title of the thesis. Use Times New Roman, 20 font, bold faced and centered paragraph style Use the correct emblem. Research Question : the proposed Title for the research work 2. INTRODUCTION : A brief outline of the relevance and significance of the work proposed. Describe the problem that your project work is focusing on. Be precise and include only relevant background material in the introduction so that it helps you define your project accurately. It could be a broader statement too. But you should be able to demonstrate that you have analyzed and evaluated the problem. This could include a separate sub heading of “Review of Literature” Font size 12. Give correct references 3. MOTIVATION : The motivation for your work should be communicated as one of the first things. Why is this interesting to you; why is it interesting for third party(university, your company, fellow students, etc.) Be sure also to include some background material provided in the introduction for the project that allows us to understand the context. 4. Review of Literature : title of the paper, author, journal, year of publication, You could also indicate the drawbacks in the existing works and why they need to be eliminated. Emphasize the importance of the research problem identified. 5.
