Video-recording software for Raspberry Pi with GUI and touchscreen

I'm an experienced developer with a keen interest in the Raspberry Pi. I've worked on many Pi related projects using various input/output boards. I have most of the components mentioned in your document - Pi3, PiCamera and various LCD touchscreens although not the hyperpixel display. I would be very interested in helping with your video recording software.

Hello, I've read your job description and I can help you with this task because I've quite some experience working with RPi and RPi camera module V2 and have developed a video capture and recording application for my client. I used Raspivid for that and used .mp4 and .h264 formats. I have the idea of how to detect USB in raspbian OS, so I can do the auto-save to USB task as well.
