Connect a Samsung S5KCT4 or similar (Sony IMX193, IMX271) APS-C image sensor to the Raspberry Pi. I figured out that the best way would be using a Lattice semiconductor 8lanes to CSI-2 bridge, and make it work (from then I will ask a sensor programmer to tweak it as its best). I posted this project in a really simple way but I know that it is pretty massive and probably much more expensive than what I think. I just wanted to know from you how much would that cost and if the price is reasonable I can try to lunch a kickstarter campaign in order to raise the money necessary to pay for this job. I don't want to talk about the final aim of the project but I am 99% sure that if the final price of the sensor connected to the Pi will be less than $250 it will be a huge success.
