I sell the same products to my customers on a weekly basis. the goal of this program is to help my sales staff increase those weekly sales and to prevent the customers from ordering the same items from my competition by reminding my sales staff that they forgot to order the items after a certain amount of time.
I need a software created that will analyze my invoices that are entered, and depending on what type of customer it is i want the program to pop up and ask a few questions, for example, If the customer purchased a product that previous week for the first time and hasn't bought it the following it should pop up in a list of reminders, This list should be computer generated based of of prior sales prices should pop up based of of the average sale price of the item to similar customers
Another aspect of the program needs to be to offer items based on what type of customer they are, ie we can define if the customer is labeled as type d,r,s,v,u,t, etc,(diner restaurant, pizzeria, deli, etc) This list should be computer generated based of off similar customer sales, and some kind of user input also.
Last but not least, we want to offer some more items, based on our markup depending on what the customer is, so depending on what type of customer it is, we want to offer specials or deals items that we make the most money on. or sales we ened to push, this list should also be computer generated based on similar customer usage, ITEM MARKUP PROFIT PERCENTAGE, and also some user input.
My existing software can export data in excel and csv format i can customize reports in excel format and use them to input the new data into this program
IE item prices, last sold, last purchase price etc. if we offer an item out at a price, and the next week we buy it ten cents higher this program needs to know the price went up and offer it ten cents higher

The sales rep should have the ability to write customer comments and set a reason from a list of fixed reasons in the drop down menu. He can also be able to set a custom reminder system. The only doubt I had is, this system would need to be attached to your inventory of products that you deal weekly. Would you upload the products, prices & existing customer invoices into the software?. Would you need the invoicing to be done from this software or it would be from another one?We are experts in developing complex applications and specialize in custom CRM development. First off your budget is way to low for intensive permission based system with role integrations. Simply is not feasible anyone bidding at that rate should immediately be blacklisted from consideration. You cannot take another application and adopt to your circumstances either so do not by the hype!
I would say that you are describing a CRM (customer relationship management) system. There are tons of them available in the cloud these days that potentially could be adopted to your needs. One such product that comes to mind is salesforce.
However, I would also state that if you adopted a third party solution rather than investing in your own proprietary one it would cost you a ton of money in the long run.
here is why.
1. Your own system can be mothballed every couple of years and you can gain significant write downs on your taxes from this
2. You can sell the software as part of the full package when and if you ever decide to sell your company. Using 3rd party software is a pure cost based expense. Building your own is building equity is a tangible item you can depreciate, but at the same time if the software is the heart of the business ecosystem it can eclipse the value of other tangible assets the company has.
Anyway, you can see I am a fan of building from scratch, but this is because I have benefitted from the scenarios I mention personally. I have depreciated assets into the 6 figures to offset gains and have also sold proprietary software off.
