Hello! Generally speaking that's not particularly hard thing to do, I have done such plugins numerous times before, so I know that for a fact. There are several aspects that I need you to address further(questions below). When running on a schedule you are talking about wordpress cron(emulated cron which is initiated by an incoming request for any page belonging to the wordpress site) or system cron(cronotab in linux, scheduled tasks in windows OS? Should there be any plugin options/manageable settings that would require having an options page(apart from providng a button/link to manually initiate a run from wp-admin)? The supplier stock-feed is avalable through HTTP or FTP protocol(would it require authentication of the requests for the feed to be downloaded)? Are those products it will encounter all 'simple' products(in woocommerce therminology) or there would be variable products as well? If the latter, then do these have individual SKUs or all variations fall under the same SKU, that of the main product option) or not? If not, then what provisions would there be, in the feed, to uniquely identify which woocommerce product(the variations are actually kept as individual products by woocommerce) the particular stock belong to(which product data to update)? The number of successes etc. for the email, you mean number of products falling under the particular outcome category? I think these are enough, for now, to get a better picture of what's needed.
