I would like to hire an individual with strong experience administering, securing, and scaling heavy-content high-traffic sites. I am running a multiuser site on Linode with Debian 7/php5.6/mysql 5.5 + various packages. I setup the server myself but I would now like a professional to setup a new optimal server. I don’t have much knowledge on linux distros, but would like latest stable versions of php/mysql. The site is still in active/private mode but going into beta/production mode soon. Setting up a new server/linode for testing makes more sense than just upgrading. What you need to do: - Setup new server - Make sure old needed packages are upgraded/migrated - Migrate old server - Audit, test, optimize site - Make site as secure as possible - Setup some cron jobs - Automate whatever can be automated (ssl certificates) - Answer various random/technical questions that I may ask I may want to continue working with you on various small projects if the job is done smoothly.

Hello. I have experience in server migration. I work as a system administrator for over 4 years. If you only need to do what you have indicated, then it is quite realistic to do it in a week or even faster. I can suggest switching to a more stable server Debian 9 or CentOS 7 of your choice.
