Ongoing updates to CodeIgniter PHP/MySQL/Javascript Application - Programmer Needed

We are looking for a developer to work for us long-term. We have an application built on CodeIgniter/PHP/MySQL/Javascript/jQuery. We need someone who is able to add various features for us and make code updates to the application. You will be writing mostly PHP code and Javascript. The application was written by us, so we will be able to give very specific instructions on what needs to be done. We are a custom software company looking to add CodeIgniter programmers to our team. We will assign a task to you, you make the update and test it. Once it's good, we will verify it's working properly then we will push the update to production. We have many features we want to add and update. This will be a long-term project. We can pay for each task completed based on the amount of time it took you. Hoping to find someone who will learn our application inside and out and will be able to easily make updates as they are requested. There will be a small learning curve in the beginning where you will need to understand the architecture of our system and where all of the files are, etc. For example, we have a custom-built process in the application for creating fields (which automatically creates the table and column in the database). As long as you are a strong PHP/CodeIgniter/MySQL programmer, you shouldn't have an issue. A few examples of tasks we might ask for (these aren't the actual tasks we need, but they are examples of what we will be looking for): - Add a cell phone # field to the customer module. Add the field to the new/edit/view customer pages. Add the field to the Customer History Report. - Add a chart to the sales dashboard that shows the current year's sales - Add a search feature that allows the user to search through multiple database tables/columns and return results - Add a feature that lets the user click a "Send Text Now" button which will open a text field allowing the user to send a text message (using Twilio API) directly from the application. - Generate better logging information when our system sends out a transactional email (was the email delivered, was the email bounced, etc.). - Prevent users with the "Salesperson" role from accessing the Sales Report module - Fix an error that keeps popping up about "Too many database connections..." You must be available to work 10-15 hours per week for the next 3-6 months. Please don't bid if you do not have enough available time. This will be on-going, long-term project. We will pay for each task completed during the project.
