Laundry Management and Tracking system

I am not sure whether you are looking for only on line tracking system or not; But I must suggest you to make the system compatible with both online & offline mode. I am in concern that may be the user have not any strong internate connectivity all time. So that we enable Intranet system with the tracker. At offline mode, it will save all data locally & as soon as, it will connected with a dedicated network, all saved data be synchronise with database & store on database.- Please share your thought. > Please confirm me, whether there is already an existing Laundry system, I just need to build up the laundry tracker system & integrate with laundry System? > Will this system be built for all types of user or there be some specific type of user who will use this system? As per my previous knowledge & experience, I can understand that:- - This tracker system will allow users I mean customers to monitor the status of washers and dryers from the comfort of their own computers. -The customer will be able to view the already washed clothes & remaining cloths numbers. - I believe, the Laundry system already have the feature that on submission of orders by customers, it will generate serial number against each clothes. So for tracking, the user only need to submit that serial number and it will show the details. - Customer will get notified when a machine is available. Admin will get notified on placing a request, via email or messages. . Waiting for an open-ended brain storm

I have gone through the details and checked the attached images. Here is a brief of how the application would look like 1- Customer form a) autogenerated serial number E.g 050717000001 b)FirstName,lastName,Mobile,Email etc c)Add/Update/Search and Delete customer 2- Laundry Data Entry form a) selected customer from list b) set delivery date c) fill amount d) save transaction 3-Reports a) Customer laundry history b) Profit between dates As far as label printing is concerned, we have two ways 1) use the normal printer , we can discuss the sticker size and you can print out multi stickers and paste on the clothes 2) label printer like DYMO or Zebra thermal printers,where a single label can be printed by our program(specific serial number) upon laundry data entry. I have done tracking system before, and I suggest using QR code as an square to easier print & put on clothes... or maybe using your current numeric code if you don't concern about security :) Looking forward to hear from you I think you could use any printer that support your label, since QR code quite common... My solution working with barcode as well. Thanks & B/R
