what type of application database you use ? I assume SQL or MongoDB or maybe PostgreSQL, anyways so extract info from that database by queries save the data as csv files and push it to a ftp server. Is that it ? or am i missing something ? tell me the specifics in chat. Thanks.

Based on the tags, I'm assuming this is a MySQL database. Can you please details what is the remote server and the protocol you would like to use to send the backup? I suggest ssh (by using SCP) Would it be acceptable to have the columns content enclosed in double-quotes and columns separated by commas. When you say "data fields" I assume your are talking about the data inside each table, not meta-data. Regards
