We are implementing a web site that uses Lato Fonts. The name of a software project advertised in the web site ("Quantum ESPRESSO") should be written in small caps. This and another 3-letter word ("MaX") are the only instances where small caps are used in the web site. We request a nicely looking replacement of the (non-existent) small-caps variant of the Lato fonts or, at least, as a workaround, a php short code that gives the desired result at arbitrary font resolution and font weight for the two words "Quantum ESPRESSO" and "MaX". In attachment, a screenshot that shows a poor rendering of small caps performed by the browser by simply scaling down capital letters (strokes are also scaled down, and hence they are too thin).
