ecommerce - website and operations backend. We're looking for PHP/Python programmers to to work full time on various projects that we have coming up. We want a team or individuals who will get to know our systems and work remotely with our in-house team. We are an ecommerce website. Our company is 12 years old, 150 employees and continues to grow very fast. We have continual need for programming. At the very least, we have a 3 month project for 3 or 4 programmers, but we also have an on-going need for permanent team members. The initial project: We need to optimise our despatch process so that are orders get processed efficiently in a variety of warehousing locations, so that the correct courier is chosen for up to 8 EU countries. We will have a detailed 50 page spec, and the programmers will work with a non-programmer specifier within our company. We will also have internal programmers to look at the code produced. Also integrating with couriers and 3rd party warehousing: 3rd party api will be using eg - xml, soap, restful. We're using php / python, with object orientated programming using frameworks like Zend and Zend2. Databases are in mysql and mssql. We will pay on an hourly basis. We have test which takes about one hour, which is attached as a zip. The test is written for php programmers, but most of the work will be completed in python. It's great if you complete the test using python. If you have 3 or 4 programmers, please get them all to take the test, zip the results back up and send it back. Then we can discuss after reviewing. Ideally, we will have 3 programmers with good results and we can start the project. Please pick programmers who are willing to work with us full time, and permanently into the future. We would like to develop a long term relationship with individuals so that they are effectively our programmers. If there is one programmer who can be the team leader, that is also very good, then we only need to liaise with one person.
