I would like to find a way to add a search box in the sub-menu of my WordPress website (not the menu, the sub-menu: very important detail! The sub-menu is the menu that rolls down when you click on one of the main menu items - see enclosed screenshot for more details). The function that calls the menu in my header is the standard WordPress function: <nav id="menu" role="navigation"> <?php wp_nav_menu( array( 'theme_location' => 'main-menu' ) ); ?> </nav> And then the menu items can be changed through the WordPress interface. Ideally I think we want to create some sort of function for the search box and then enter <div id=searchboxfunctionid></div> in the WordPress interface in the submenu where we want the searchbox to be. If you think it can be done, please reach out. If you have a better idea on how to do it, please reach out as well!
