Personal Site Design (Graphics Only)

This project is to design a website graphics for a personal website. As it is not intended for business, the focus is on the look rather than marketability, branding or intuitiveness of navigation. The core requirement of this project is the style and artistic quality of the result. 1. Colour: I'm thinking of a saturated colour scheme, with a dark blue/purple background. The text should probably be white, but that will depend on the final design. 2. Art Style: I'm opting for a single digital painting style, rather than a set of headers, buttons and content areas - it might hurt usability, but it is a sacrifice I'm willing to make. You can see a few examples of the art style I'm considering at http://vault.max99x.com. Note that all of those are paintings, not website layouts. This is an import point that I would like preserved. If you can not provide a good looking sky, please do not bid. 3. Layout and Navigation: The navigation has to blend seamlessly into the rest of the page design, but at the same time buttons/links should not be linked to specific unique graphic elements as their number will change over time. I'm not sure what elements could be used effectively for the buttons/links, so I'd love to hear your suggestions. I do not mind if you have no RaC rating, but providing examples of past works (websites or otherwise) is critical. A DeviantArt gallery is fine. If you have any further ideas about the site, you obviously get an edge. The selected artist will be credited fully on the site, using a name and link of their choosing. NOTE: Some of the sites I linked above are in Flash. This is NOT a Flash project and I do not need any kind of animation. ## Deliverables 1) 2 higher-than-use resolution, layered source files with all vector elements unrasterized for (I) the home page and (II) any other page. Preferably in PSD format, but I'm open to any other format as long as there's a way to import it into Photoshop CS2 losslessly with free tools. 2) The project is for the graphics part of the design only. It does not include slicing or HTML/CSS coding. 3) Deliverables must be original work produced for this project specifically unless agreed otherwise. ## Platform Does not apply.
