Web browser automatic interaction

I need a program that can read a web page (the page is refreshed automatically), then looks for a string and when found, can send keystrokes to the web page to simulate actions like press a link or fill a password request or push a button. Then reads the html file and writes it on a text file. I don't need a complex project, only a working example, then I can complete/modify it myself The interaction should work even if the browser is minimized (I want to continue my work while the program is controlling the web page) The coding must be VB6 I tryed to simulate it with copy/paste and sendkeys() but this way it interferes with my work (e.g. I can't work on word because the sendkeys() will interrupt my typing) ## Deliverables Complete source code of all programming work done
