Phase 1:
I need a PHP programmer to read in ALL of the historical stock prices from such a table as shown on:
UP till the present day, ie from since the start date of the stock such as Nov 26, 1997 until present day.
Have all the data captured inside MySQL database, one table for every stock, with 7 columns in the table, ie
Ticker symbol, followed by Date, Open, High, Low, Close, Volume, Adj Close*.
-I will supply a continuous list of several thousands of ticker stock symbols.
-You have to enable AUTOPILOT execution of running down this list of ticker symbols, to feed the corresponding ticker symbol's data into the MySQL database's tables.
MySQL database be structured this way:
-(a) 1 table for every tick symbol, ie every stock
-(b) 1 consolidated table for all the tables, ie all the stocks put together.
Follow rest of page details on [login to view URL]:

End Date: day Year
Allow Frequency to vary between: Daily
Weekly
Monthly
Dividends Only

Phase 2:
I will subscribe to real time stock quotes from [login to view URL], and you will update in real-time mode, all these new data alongside with the historical data from Phase 1, to preferrably upload into the same corresponding table, (a) above, for the particular ticker symbol in the MySQL database, so as to add on new data to the old data for the same stock. Of course, the consolidated table of all tables, ie (b) above will also be updated at the same time.
Phase 2 will run continuously so as to read in the latest data available into the MySQL database.
20 years Old experienced Programmer and Translating Service offer the quality you need.
I am ready to start, HTML, PHP, MySQl, Text parsing experience. Ready to start and deliver the best with control of the running system included.
Regards.
I already have a perl program that does almost exactly what you want. Converting it to php would be simple. However, you need to be aware that the yahoo csv file, which gives the complete price history, does not include either dividends or splits. They have to be downloaded from a different url, and sometimes the oldest data has to be downloaded manually since yahoo's server will not honor requests of a certain format from programs like wget or curl. Also, the date format changes if older than a certain date. These are just a couple of examples to show you I am familiar with what you need...
