We require a Content Management System for an online Services Rental website.
Ideology:
------------
1. The website will attract Service Providers and invite them to register their Work Profiles.
2. Customers seeking Services will visit the site and? post their Request / Job.
3. Service Providers will then review posted service requests on the site and make bids appropriately. The site's functions will resemble those of Freelancer websites such as [login to view URL], [login to view URL] and [login to view URL], though they will not need to be as detailed as these sites provide.
4. Service Customers will have the option of setting the HIGHEST HOURLY RATE POSSIBLE for the job or MAX PAY.
5. When customers log in to post a Service Request, they must be able to go through a TIERED process of putting the request on the site: This includes, TITLE, SERVICE DESCRIPTION, CATEGORY OF SERVICE, MAX PAY PER HOUR, LOCATION (CITY, POST CODE), SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS, etc.
6. The DESIGN for the Main Page has already been established and will be provided to the shortlisted coders for review and further suggestions.
--
The Site must be coded using PHP and MySQL (Backend Database).
Coders bidding on this project MUST SATISFY THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA:
Knowledge of CSS, HTML, XHTML, DHTML, PHP, AJAX ( ABSOLUTE MUST !!! ), XML and JAVASCRIPT.
--
Interested Bidders are requested to NOT POST HUGE AMOUNTS of information about their "companies" or "solutions firms" or whatever else that falls into this category of absolutely useless bidding.
I would like you to read through this Bid Request, UNDERSTAND and EVALUATE all the necessary requirements and post back with a VALID, DETAILED and CLEARLY EXPLAINED proposal of how you would construct this website from scratch.
I want GOOD, PERSUASIVE, and STRUCTURED BID PROPOSALS ( preferrably with a project Flowchart showing the entire SDLC behind your approach ). Coders may use OpenSource products, but I MUST APPROVE THEM BEFORE they can use them. I am a programmer myself, and know how to distinguish between a GOOD BID and a BAD BID.
--
All the best, Good luck with your Bids.
I look forward to your correspondence.
Kind Regards.
## Deliverables
The Backend CMS must have the following capabilities:
* SERVICE CATEGORIES ( ADD, EDIT, DELETE )
* SERVICE SUBCATEGORIES ( ADD, EDIT, DELETE )
* MEMBERSHIP MANAGEMENT (FOR SERVICE PROVIDERS AND CUSTOMERS)
* JOB POSTING
* PROFILE CREATION (SERVICE PROVIDERS AND CUSTOMERS)
* INVOICE MANAGEMENT ( PRINTING OF INVOICES IN A FORMAT WHICH WILL BE PROVIDED )
* PAYMENT GATEWAY INTEGRATION
* SECURE PAYMENTS PROCESSING ( ADMIN MUST BE ABLE TO VIEW, ADD, EDIT AND DELETE ALL PAYMENTS (INBOUND OR OUTBOUND)
Service Providers will answer a Service Request from a Customer, and specify their HOURLY RATE as well as NUMBER OF HOURS REQUIRED to complete the job.
The site needs to be fast, should load very quickly, should allow users to literally ZIP in and out of pages (AJAX again). Coders should take this into account and must be certain that they have the skills required for this project. (NOTE: The BUYER is an EXPERIENCED PROGRAMMER himself. Take the hint.)
The ENTIRE SITE must be coded using these techniques as well as VERY SOUND use of AJAX throughout.

This project must be conducted through RentACoder.com. Upon selection of the successful coder, all funds negotiated will be placed in RentACoder Safe Escrow for the mutual security of both Coders and ourselves. We are not entertaining any requests to work outside of RentACoder.com. Thankyou.

First of all, Apologies to those Invited Bidders who are not interested in this project and who's inboxes this message may clutter. Please discard this message if that is the case. For all Interested Bidders: 1. I noticed that the Expert Guarantee caused a lot of hesitation to bid. Hence, I have removed it for the time being. 2. Please post "REALISTIC" and properly "STRUCTURED" bids. It will only increase your chances of winning this project. All the best~
