This is a request for proposals on revamping an existing game portal. Currently I have a game portal that allows users to play 4 different card games as wll as Chess and Backgammon. The games are written in Java. The Site is modeled after Yahoo!Games and it is in working order. However, because the number of users are growing, I need some one that is well versed in Java programming/Game development to review the site and tune it for better performance. Currently the applets sometimes hang, do not load etc. **Conversely you can re-do the games in either Java or Flash with the same functionalities. Howevere, Please let me know exactly what you are going to do when you bid so I can compare the bids accordingly. ** In addition I need the developer to revamp the website as well but that is not the big task (maybe 1 or two web pages and CSS) Please provide your profile/experience for review before the bid is accepted. **Please also note that upon successful copletion of the project, the bidder is reimbursed with 75% of the funds. Afterwards I reserve the right to test the site for a period of 15 days to 1 month to ensure that there are no remaining bugs/problems ** Let me know if there are any questions/problems ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). * * *This broadcast message was sent to all bidders on Wednesday Dec 7, 2005 5:33:32 PM: The site is [login to view URL] and you can login using username: tester password: test123 Just to clarify, if you are trying to re-design the games in Flash, you should know that the games are multiplayer and you can as well play against the computer in the absense of necessary number of players. In addition some rework is required on the page design itself Thanks ## Platform Java JSP or Flash, HTML, CSS, MySQL
