To move and enhance the "***Crew Services***" section of [[login to view URL]][1] site. The new site is called [login to view URL] and needs to be expanded to create an online community for people working in the yachting industry. The site needs to provide: 1. Crew Placement (an enhanced version of that noted above). Immediate enhancements include automatic 'deactivation' after 21 days, and an auto email with a link to reactivate sent out to the member. Ultimately we want them to have their "own page" on our site, the address being [[login to view URL]][2]. This is to be a bit like A SMALL version of My space like, but very limited customisation. Where they can change colours, upload jpg, insert a bit of text...and is print friendly. 2. A new section entititled "DAYWORK" where captains can post for 24 hours one day cash paid jobs, and crew can post availablity for the same, in preset geographical regions. 3. They can build their own email (ie like hotmail) and at our domain (Perhaps we can purchase an existing serivce such as Googles new Beta?) 4. A Forum - again we can purchase an add on 5. The ability to see who is online, and IM these friends - again the Google Beta? ([[login to view URL]][3]) 6. A series of hyper links to participating services. 7. A SMALL e-commerce for selling T-Shirts, etc. - this function we will not need till after the initial launch. We can provide logos, and mascot characters and logos. A simple USER FRIENDLY backend control panel where we can manage the site and change advertising. Revenue is to be gleaned from advertising, so necessary space on all pages. Traffic volume is expected to be high, so please ensure your choice coding and such reflects this fact. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. The coder is expected to research best options for plug-ins and support the fucntional integration. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
