I have a site-layout I'd like to see influence the design of the layout.
I don't possess enough skill to write a complex database driven, searchable, members area etc (see full specifications below) websites, but can get around the elements of existing html/asp/asp.net.
The hosting platform will be Windows with ASP.Net 2.0.
I want the winning coder to build the foundations of the site which I can then build on by adding my own content, links etc. If the complexity of the site goes beyond me then a more experienced designer will be engaged.
The finished product must feature:
CSS structure
Customisable secure (SSL) members area. This will be used as a
customer portal where my clients will find information specific to them. Customisable fields would be ideal. Also, the site design of the secure area needs to take into consideration other systems may eventually be plugged into the members area as seamlessly as possible. More information will be provided.
Database driven - site needs to be searchable but not so much a dynamic site. Infact, I'm reluctant to use a pre-fab dynamic site because they alway seem to look the same.
Menu's and mouse-over affects in conjunction with the concepts I'll supply.
Existing colour scheme and graphic design concepts associated with my company must be applied.
In future I want the site to feature (tied in with the members area) a forum, online shop, downloads area, help-desk, mass e-mail and SMS Marketing application.
Keen to gather some thoughts.
