I am looking for quotes for a basic mobile app, preferably written in Mono (the cross-platform .NET framework), that does the following:
* When the app is open, it will sample changes in the device's movement and attempt to detect sudden changes in acceleration/deceleration.
* When an impact is detected it will execute logic (to be implemented later)
* Given a set of sample data of velocity and acceleration over time, the tool should correctly identify sudden starts/stops
The core use of this tool is to detect when a phone is dropped or kicked. It should cancel out any inertial noise such as riding on a bus, plane or roller coaster. I am only looking for the background code, no UI stuff (yet).
More specific details will be given once the project has been awarded.
Please provide any examples of previous work you've done with the Mono Framework, as well as any work you may have done with device motion.
