Convert videos/images to URLs is the main theme, right?. As like as WeTransfer app does follow it. Of course, they both(i.e images and videos) will be captured through native phone camera. Although, it's a bit of complicated. Since URL is Uniform Resource Locator. That means it is a string containing the path to the file or resource in remote or local destination. So, first we need to Save your Video/Image data to a file then try to access that as a file URL. That means First we need to save the video as a local file. Then should Initialize and returns a newly created NSURL object as a file URL with that specified path. Does it make a sense? Around that, We can use UISaveVideoAtPathToSavedPhotosAlbum function to save the video file to Photo roll. Then If you want to keep your video data and instantiate video player with that video, then we can instantiate video player with path to that file. Do you want to compress the video for remote sharing and keep the original quality for local storage on the device? Unlike point-to-point sharing, we should have to impose a maximum file size. In WeTransfer’s case, this is 10GB. So how much will we keep in this app? Pls suggest. Conclusion: It would not be required both the sender and the receiver to have the app installed. Instead, users can share a file with anyone as long as you know their email address. It’s easy to see how this could be expanded to social media sharing — but that’s not yet a feature.
