Mailchimp not verifying email - may need domain verification

I'm trying to setup a mailchimp account and it wont send the verification email to our email address that we registered it with. It looks like it needs custom DNS settings setup on the hosting. The email is with Gmail Suite and has a custom domain. Need this fixed and mailchimp working.
