Node.js app crashes after a few days of running (possible memory leak)

Hi, I have a node.js app deployed to a server, however after a few days of it running the app stops responding. Keymetrics shows very high memory usage at this point. When it stops responding I can't even log into the server via SSH the connection just hangs. This could be because of bad socket hang ups i'm not sure. The application is split across two servers one for the front end and one for backend file conversion. So when the backend app crashes the front end site is still working and live however no functionality works as it does not receive any response from the backend server in this state. To receive payment the server needs to be tested for a period of 2-5 days after work is considered complete to ensure the server keeps working. Thanks.
