Force open of windows through javascript

We have a file download system that provides the link with this code <a HREF="javascript:void([login to view URL]('[login to view URL]<%=rsCT("ID") %>'))" >Download <%=rsCT("Download")%></a> - when that is clicked by the user - it opens a new window - downloads the file and closes that window. We have a need to be able to download a group of files and want to do each individually in order but still only make the user click on the link once. No - we don't want to use zip or other archive - these will be going to phones and most people can't figure out how to extract and use the files. We are using ASP Classic - no we are not switching to other language - so must work in ASP CLASSIC - I need a page that has a link that the user presses - then the process will loop several time - each time executing a open of the file that forces the download - (has to pass the file number to that page - will be looping through the database records at the same time to get each file number).
